A framework is an interface layer between oneself and the world. In my mind, these exist in a sort of hierarchy with the outermost layers representing those in closer contact with the world but further from the core self. These seem to manifest as habits, action patterns, interests, and preferences. The further from the core identity, the more likely they are to be adaptable/replaceable. The close to the core, the more important and fundamental they are. I know that this is a rather obvious sort of descriptions, but I'm simply trying to spell it out for you and myself as best as I can.
